Puccini

Festival Puccini is based in Torre del Lago Puccini on the shores of Massaciuccoli Lake, in Northern Tuscany. Torre del Lago, near to the Town of Viareggio, is about 80 km from Florence, 25 km far from Lucca and only 30 minutes from Pisa international airport. Performances take place in a 3,100 seat Open-air Theatre, just a stone’s throw from the Villa Puccini, where the composer lived, worked and is buried. Puccini operas were first performed here in 1930 following the Maestro’s wishes.

Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago is the only opera festival in the world entirely dedicated to the works of Maestro Giacomo Puccini.

Combine the beauty of the rennaisance with the magic of Puccini for this magnificent tribute to Puccini! Ideal base to explore the beauty of Tuscany and its majestic countryside.
