We loved the opera house in Vienna, also, but seriously, Prague’s was wonderful. The production was top notch. Great musicians.
Worth going simply to see the interior. The performance was quite great, not the finest, but the stage sets were appalling, maybe because of lack of capital. So boring as were the costumes. The good thing is attending the opera in excellent seats WOn’t break the bank.
Superb performance in lovely theater, I reckon you can purchase tickets for the Opera, hotel in Prague dinner and flights from London but still have spent less than you would for the same tickets to the opera in London.
We reserved an opera beforehand at home over the internet. Everything was all right We were sitting in a balcony on the 2nd floor, really very lovely building. For just 2 dollars, really affordable you’ll be able to drink cava through the break! Even when you are no opera fan, it’s worth to do that!
The Philharmony is world wide known as a perfect orchestra. Therefore many outstanding musicians you’ll never locate somerwhere else at the exact same place. In addition, they’re perfect when they play with Smetana
